Lacrosse Goalie is a difficult position from a physical perspective. Goalies in lacrosse must be able to stop a lacrosse ball going over 80+ miles per hour, with minimal equipment and ever-expanding stick technology that allows shooters to manipulate ball location & releases like never before.
On top of being difficult from a physical perspective, the lacrosse goalie must develop one of the strongest mental capacities in all of sports. Studying & reading books from alternative sports, psychology, spirituality, personal development can be a tremendous training asset for lacrosse goalies. We hope to inspire the goalie community to share their favorite reads that have helped them in their mental journey.
To start the conversation, we have decided to share some of our favorite reads over the course of our lacrosse journey. Here's a short list that we hope you would like to add to or borrow from to help yourself and others in the lacrosse community.
